I've seen a lot of people run that same tire width w/ 40s in front and 35's in back without problems on 8's in front and 9's in back. Does anyone care to elaborate WHY that 1/4" on each side would matter if the tire is the same width? I know my friend that has 8's in front w/ 245's and 9's in back with 275's doesn't have problems except hitting a bigger bump at freeway speeds. He gets a little bit of rubbing only on the front.
